i'm a saikang warrior

There was only one thing to do this wk which was to prepare for Ex Wallaby at Australia. Since I'm one of the 100+ ppl in the unit not going over to Australia for training, we din have to trouble ourselves packing our bags and needing to have everything 100% clean(cos Australia is an agricultural country, so they're very particular bt ppl bringing in foreign particles in, tt is, soil and foodstuff etc). While the Wallaby personnel are preparing their stuff to bring overseas, there was still unclean stores left for the non-Wallaby personnel to settle as they also have to be sent to Australia.

We were attached to Sgt Mutu (a commander from another platoon) to clean the CVC helmets(helmets wif headphones and mic for intercoms within an a-veh). There was a total of approx. 60 helmets for 10 ppl to clean. Since it had to be super ultra clean, we had a very hard time cos the helmets weren't well-maintained all along and now they had to be 100% clean. The harness(cushion) was also soiled and since we din have enough time, we kiwi-ed it black lorz. Sounds simple doesn't it? Well, it's not easy to kiwi them lorz. We needed a lot of kiwi-ing b4 the harnesses were very black and looked clean. The switches and gaps in the CVC helmets got mud stuck in them and we had to dig them out wif pincers and toothbrushes. We started cleaning at 6pm but even until 2am the nxt morn, it still din pass the standards the sgt in-charge (nt Sgt Mutu) required. We ended the cleaning and went to sleep at 3am. We had our breakfast at ard 7am and resumed cleaning at 8am. By 12noon, we decided to go for lunch first and we brought our stuff back to coy-line to keep and when Sgt Mutu came back from doing some other stuff, he was fuming mad sia. The sgt in-charge was asking him why we jus left the place and Sgt Mutu was angry tt we din wait for him to return to get instructions. The sgt in-charge gave a dead-line of 2pm for all to be clean lorz, so some of us went to eat while others continue cleaning and we switched roles later on. At 2pm, we moved over to the MT-line where the sgt in-charge was. Man, it was raining heavily lorz, how sian diaoz can one get u can imagine.

As the stores had to be loaded up by 4pm, the sgt in-charge had to close 1 eye lorz, cos some of our CVC helmets really still cmi larz. Everyone was in a foul mood sia, myself included lorz, haha. When everything was done, the relieve I felt was tremendous! Without fail, Sgt Mutu tells us to go to our bunks to get some money for canteen break(it's illegal for him to give us tt lorz, he can get extras if found out by his superiors). He always like to reward his men for work done wan lorz, this is the 3rd time I've worked under him and got canteen break in the end.

The non-Wallaby personnel went for a briefing by the RSM yesterday aftnoon regarding wat they had installed for us while most of the battalion is overseas and of course, as I've anticipated, saikang awaiting us! He said there're areas in the battalion ground tt need to be cleaned up, which he will inform the acting CSM while they're away. To add insult to injury, our 'dearest' Sgt Kenny has agreed wif my PC tt we will be servicing our 4 tanks up to standard for the upcoming 4NTM(notice to movement) aft Ex Wallaby. Me and Eric, the b-coy tankees left behind, hai, are going to die from excessive saikang for sure...*sigh* But I can't complain much cos I've been given the chance to stay behind which I wanted, since my grandpa is very very sickly now. Can't imagine what I'll do if something happens (touch wood) and I can't be ard.
