Went down to ECP for our battalion run this evening just for the sake of being there. Since I was excused from the run, I was told to 'guard' our bags. Luckily, I knew something like this will happen and I brought along my comics to read, haha. It was a great feeling being at the seaside hearing the swooshing sound of the waves and seeing the big ships anchored near the horizon...peaceful. I only spent some time appreciating the scenery b4 burying myself into my comic. Got to see 2 old friends running, one of them Yang Wee, former CSS friend, and Nicholas Foo, fellow bunkmate in BMT, fellow schmate in NJ.
After that, I met up wif Min Yang and then we went to grab a cab. There were almost 800+ ppl there leaving at the same time so u can wonder how we'd ever get a cab. We walked down quite a distance and went to somewhere ard Parkway Parade and found a cab immediately lorz...haha. He wanted to go Bugis to get some comics and I decided to tag along lorz =) I've only been in Bugis once so it's good to see the inside. We went to this very zai comic shop which sells lotsa english comics such as spiderman, batman, x-men, fantastic 4 etc. They even sell models of batmobiles right from the oldest design! I was quite interested in buying the unlimited spierman comics but some editions cost ard $30++! I wonder why...haha. After that, we went to Kino which was just nxt door and as Min Yang was very keen on getting a bk, I decided not to be a spoilsport as I also found a rather nice bk titled 'the namesake'. Hopefully it's not a wrong decision as the story is not the action-packed or suspense type...haha.
What nxt but dinner lorz. On the way to Fish n Co. (I decided on that cos I've nvr tried that b4), how tyco of me to meet my cousin wif her bf, haha. This is like the 3rd time I meet her by chance at a shopping centre this yr lorz...lol. As expected, Fish n Co. was filled wif ppl and considering Min Yang has to report back to camp tml, we went to LJS across the road instead. I owe him $22 now which I'll pay back when I can...haha...din draw money out today quite broke...=P
