f e v e r Hmm, I went back to camp this wk feeling very unwell due to lack of sleep over last wkend...jus bought a new game mahz, had some prob which I had to solve in order to play...I suffered from fever on Monday and being a bit too garang, I still went for the 14km run! I clocked a average timing of 1h 12m 30s. I initially hoped I could sweat my fever off but it wasn't the case. I felt even worse after the run lorz, but aft my aftnoon nap, I felt better and went on wif my ICCT mock grading which I passed. Wierd enough, my fever was gone aft the ICCT (it's the 2nd time I did ICCT wif fever and recovered aft it). On Tuesday, I passed the ICCT grading lorz. Wednesday was uneventful and yesterday, Me and 2 other spare crews were required to help the RSM wif some stores. We helped him bring some stores down to the first floor from the store room on the 2nd floor and we finished doing it at ard 8.30am. Then, we had to wait for our 'dearest' Australian guy who was supposed to check and give his approval before we could load the stores onto the container to be sent to Australia for our training over there. We waited and waited and waited. The ceiling on the first floor is high and so we were all exposed to the sun the whole day. I forgot to bring my water bottle and because I didn't hydrate myself enough, I suffered from fever by evening time. Only at ard 6.15pm did they finally confirm that the Australian guy won't be coming and we had to move the stores back to the store room on the 2nd floor (bloody hell, waste our time lorz). After that, we went back to our coy line and after taking a shower (the water was super duper cold!!), my fever worsened and I slept on it until ard 9pm before the rest of my platoon mates returned and one of them called our sergeant to notify him. He then took me to the medical centre to see the duty medic and interestingly, they couldn't find any panadols at hand!!!(duno what they doing lor) My platoon mate had to go see our coy medic to get some panadols for me and after 1h, my temperature fell and they allowed me to return to bunk to rest, drink more water, and take panadols every 6hrs. Today I get to be home so early becos we have a battalion run at ECP later on at 4.30pm. I'm supposed to run 16km later but having fever last night, I think I should be excused from the run lorz, haha. All these long-dist runs are organised to gear us up for the AHM(army half marathon) where I'm suppposed to run 21km! (duno if I can do it lar, nvr done it b4, but can try =P) This 16km run is supposed to be our passport to the 21km run so I duno if I'd still be qualified to run the 21km since I'll miss this 16km run...nvr mind...that's for my PC to think about...none of my business really...whaha =P posted by sc @
