full metal alchemist

People cannot gain anything without sacrificing something. You must present something of equal value to gain something. That is the principle of equivalent trade in alchemy.

Well, here comes another anime I'm currently chasing, Full Metal Alchemist! It's about 2 brothers, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric who tried to revive their dead mum whom they lived wif cos their dad was away for what reason their mum never said. It was 'illegal' in alchemy terms and they failed, resulting in the loss of an arm and a leg for Edward and Alphonse losing his entire body but his elder brother managed to seal his soul into a very strong armour.

A very sad story to begin wif sia. Edward managed to get a metal arm and leg known as automail fixed on his body and they set off on a journey to search for the legendary Philosopher's Stone which is said to allow the alchemist to disobey the principle of equivalent trade. The very touching part is tt, the aim of the brothers' individually, was not to help themselves but to help each other. Edward wants to help his younger bro get his human body back while Alphonse wants to help his elder bro get back his arm and leg.

Well, the principle of equivalent trade in alchemy...doesn't tt hint at us tt we have to put in hardwork and effort to get to our objective/aim? Nice...=)

asthma!!

After 3 wks fighting my worst nightmare...finally halfway on the road to recovery. Asthma has been my 'enemy' since I was born. It hindered me a lot when I was still young especially in kindergarten when my friends get to play at the playground for 1 whole period of lesson while I only get to play for 1/2, ha, still remember how sad I feel everytime I was starting to enjoy myself with my friends and my form teacher calls me over to sit down with her and watch my classmates play.

Was on the inhaler for quite a long time until ard Primary 3 I think when I start to grow out of it. Used to watch those health documentaries on TV regarding asthma and they say that one can never fully recover from it, just that your lungs grow bigger as you grow up and asthma won't affect the person as much as when the person was young lorz. But hearing different things all the time larz, haha.

Guess I've overworked myself this time and my 'enemy' returns! Hai, currently on the inhaler again lorz, sometimes jog a bit faster to maybe catch the bus or carry something quite heavy over a distance, will start to pant le, sianz. Hopefully can totally recover from it larz, and resume my daily routine whether it's in-camp or outta camp lorz. =(
