reckoning

In Smallville's 100th episode titled 'Reckoning', after such a long wait, Clark finally decides to let Lana in on his secret. It all goes well and she even agreed to his marriage proposal. It is also in this episode that Jol-El comes to collect the life of someone Clark loves, the price to pay when Clark died and was revived earlier this season. Who else could it be but Lana?

Clark approaches Jol-El for help and was told that he cannot change destiny. Jol-El gave Clark the chance to go back in time to save Lana and as expected, another life is taken and in the end, it was that of Jonathan Kent. As usual, the story goes on with Lana still in the dark, suspicious of Clark but unable to find out what the secret is... Unable to understand why Clark isn't willing to tell her, when he loves her so much -_-".

The producers were successful in preventing the spoilers before the episode from telling the audience who will die in this episode though the trailer show the car accident taking Lana's life. Well, I actually expected Lana to die so that Clark and Lois will somehow get together, which will definitely happen, only when and how is unknown -_-". The only difference after this episode, as explained by the producers, is that Clark sort of grows up to be a man. Oh well, so the normal Smallville continues... Lana unable to understand why Clark doesn't tell her his secret... Lots of ironic comments made by ppl ard Clark, such as Lana asking him if he believed in life on another planet... Lois asking how can she ever find another man who's not interested in ruling the world but trying to save it...

grand-pa.blogspot.com

Hi everyone, I'm finally sort of home "for good". Due to my large number of uncleared off/leave, I'll be home from now til I ORD unless I'm on duty or my commanders come up wif stunts again lorz. Been busying myself recently with a new blog http://grand-pa.blogspot.com which I update regularly wif interesting stuff I received thru emails or found on other webbies/blogs on the net. Hopefully it'll be a hit larz, haha.

Yesterday, our coy set off in the morn to a children's home some where in West Coast. We helped to clean up the fronting of the building and then paint the walls and railings. Felt kinda good doing such stuff lorz, regret not being more involved in CIP projects back in secondary sch times, haha. Guess I concentrated too much on my studies and neglected this aspect of my development. The only sad thing is tt we never got to interact wif the kids. Most of them are schooling and they'll be going home for the New Year lorz.

Here, I'd to wish all of you a Happy 2006!

a year of many movies...

Wow...2006 is a year of many movies...in the upcoming months, lotsa movies I hope to catch..it's non-exhaustive cos I dunno all the movies that're coming out this year...but here are a few...

1. Mission: Impossible III
2. The Da Vinci Code
3. X-Men 3
4. Superman Returns
5. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

The 2 most anticipated movies for me are Da Vinci Code and Pirates...especially Pirates...been waiting 2 years for it since Curse of the Black Pearl...Hope to watch them at the cinema! If I'm not wrong, Ice Age II and Final Destination III are also comin' out, but I haven't watched any of the Final Destination series yet...=P

hello 2006!

Happy New Year ppl! Here's my first post of 2006. Well, while people are onto Narnia-mania, I'm just started wif Harry Potter! Haha, yeah, slow me. How long ago was it tt the first Harry Potter movie came out...I bought the first 5 books and watched the first 4 movies at one go, bought the dvd set for the first 3 movies =P. Didn't understand what's all the hype about Harry Potter til now, lol. I've jus started reading the books not long, almost completing the Chamber of Secrets(Duh, ppl are like reading Order of the Phoenix or Half-blood Prince le). Hopefully can keep the momentum going and finish the other H.P books I bought, haha.

Hmm, so fast and '05 has ended... the most busy year of my NS life(jus for my unit I guess, dun think other units are so busy, haha). First it was training in India back in March, then it was ATEC in May, NDP in August(dun forget we start trainining in June) and then some Ops duty somewhere in September. Just had my block leave last week and now about to embark on my journey thru the last 3mths of my NSF life. Just can't wait for it to end and get started wif uni('You'll miss NS when u get to uni' my seniors warn me, lol).

My 'career' as a Newcastle fan seem to be on the downhill(it's been so for 2yrs) since Grame Souness took over the helm at St. James'. Yeah yeah, he did save Newcastle from relegation...thank you very much...but he's definitely not the one to lead the club to honours, not even a top 6 finish in the EPL if you ask me. What about our dear Magpies talisman Shearer? Hai, the 'grumpy old man' certainly hasn't lost his touch wif scoring, but he's not even provided the chances to finish! I wonder if anyone notices a curse his partner has? His official strike partner is always injured! First it was Duncan Ferguson, den it was Carl Cort, followed by Craig Bellamy and now Michael Owen. Nt much to expect from them wif Owen out for ard 3mths, his lethal finishing will b terribly missed, even more important, the confidence(that they can win) he gives to the team to perform well. A top-half finish is all one can hope for from Newcastle, unless the chairman gives the manager the sack.
