What a rare delight! Newcastle off to a gd start! *smirks* It was too stunning really, Newcastle going 3-0 up in under 30mins. Most of the players looked sharp and fresh unlike in the past seasons. Besides the comments given by the players (in the club's website) tt they feel in tip-top condition, better than ever, I guess it can be seen from the play, Big Sam's regime trains up the players' fitness very very well compared to the past Newcastle managers.

Big Sam's purchases were all rather big-sized players which helped a lot as Newcastle used to get "bullied" by other teams due to the team having mostly small-size players. Lots of "steel" added into the team with the likes of Rozenhal and Smith. Martins was doing his usual stuff, terrorising defenders with his pace and tricks, grabing a brace in the match.

A lot awaits to be seen eh, as Bolton's tactics are mostly known to Big Sam. Next match against Arsenal will be a rough gauge of the work Sam has done at St. James's. Can't wait!
