at the end of the world, the adventure begins

Hmm, did everyone went for the show with too much expectation? Most of my friends who've watched it were disappointed, telling me not to expect too much of it. Well, maybe cos of their advice, I enjoyed the show actually, hahaha. Loved it. (except for some parts which were jus lame and horrible)

The story is too complicated so I'm not gonna tok abt it, hahaha. The main pt abt this show is, everyone keeps betraying everybody else who he/she has made a verbal agreement with, regarding whatsoever matter. Everybody was only acting in his/her own interests but ultimately, the whole situation's progress was all a result of Captain Jack Sparrow's decisions or plans. His flexibility and ingenuity is always a pleasure to watch. Even though his actions are selfish in nature, he's still kind-hearted by nature as can be seen when he hesitated to stab Davy Jones's heart at the critical moment, and how stunned he was to see William Turner get "killed" by Davy Jones.

I felt the best moment when Jack showed his flexibility and outsmarted everyone was at the pirates' gathering when they had to vote for a leader to make a decision for all. Some of the pirates who've been at the previous gathering knew, every one of the nine representatives will vote for himself only and so the action seemed pretty useless besides the fact tt it abides by the book of pirates' law. As they were going down the line with everyone voting for him/herself, when it came to Jack, he voted for Elizabeth (who was representing Chow Yun Fat aft he died and passed on the captaincy to her) knowing she's in favour of the course of action which Jack also wants. He just did not expect Elizabeth to abuse this authority when they were meeting the British navy representatives to "discuss". Elizabeth traded Jack (to Davy Jones, who wanted Jack to pay his debt by serving on the Flying Dutchman) for William, lol.

What a great way to make this 3rd the most spectacular eh, the Black Pearl taking on the Flying Dutchman, 2 of the best ships in the world square off as though there's no tomorrow and after a long time of fighting, things went as Jack had hoped and the 2 ships destroyed the British Navy's main ship along with whoever was leading the navy and the rest of the big navy had to retreat, making it a victory for the pirates in their endeavour for survival.

Well, on the whole, loved the story, loved the twists and turns in the plot, and most of all, loved the gay-ishness of Captain Jack Sparrows! *double thumbsup for Johnny Depp*
