Our grp took quite a while to warm up but wif a few siao-onz ppl like Wan Yu, Wei Liang and Louis, our grp became really fun to be in soon enough. Furthermore, we also have a "cheer-list" councillor Sherline, who made our cheers different from the rest. A lot of cheers were initiated by her in our OG and then copied by others later on.
The funniest thing is, our OG finished second when we were never in the top 3 OGs of the day for the first 3 days. We finished last in all the amazing-race kinda games due to our garang-ness. It was bad luck that we missed the tram during the Amazing Race which would take us from Siloso Beach to Palawan Beach but it was garang-ness(sounds better than stupidity) tt caused us to lose as we decided to RUN. Yes, no typo, we RAN from Siloso Beach to Palawan Beach, putting us effectively out of the race. I guess we got 2nd due to our excellent performance in the dry beach games, 15min challenge and our dance.
Our OG was also the most slack when it came to learning the dance for the competition on the 3rd night. Once again, Wan Yu, Wei Liang and Louis came to the rescue. They were pretty good dancers who each forgot only a small part of the dance. During the competition, the 3 of them were the main characters for our OG's dance but the rest of us followed behind pretty well I guess. One of the other OGs totally stopped for a moment during their performance as they heavily relied on one person to lead the dance and they altogether forgot a whole chunk of it.
I haven't participated in camps for a long time and the ice-breakers and games were very very enjoyable. Our OGLs and councillors each introduced new games throughtout the camp and we had loads of fun, particularly Jia Xing's "Drinking Goggles Up" game which we played on our last night together.
Finishing this camp, I'm now slightly better prepared to start studying at NUS. *thumbsup*
