a place of my own

Lol, it's been ages since I updated my blog. So sad that the teams(whether favs or underdogs) I support in the WC are all out... Goodbye to Australia, Argentina and Czech Republic! The most unconvincing was Australia's exit... kns Italy won a penalty in the very very last minute of normal time to clinch it before going into extra. The worst thing is, it was a dive! Not a genuine penalty. Well, I don't miss England exiting surprisingly. Before the WC started I thought I'd support them. But the tactics! Nonsense. The players? Can't see what's wrong with them. Disappointing form from Gerrard and Lampard. Joe Cole didn't have enough time on the pitch to help the team with his good form. Well, let's move on to the non-WC aspect of my life, haha.

Little has happened but I've done quite a lot, haha. I've moved into my own room! What does this mean? The good thing is, me and my bro got our own privacy now. The bad thing it symbolises? My grandparents have left us lorz. It's more or less a new phase in my life without my grandparents le.

Before I moved into the room, psycho-ed by dad, I painted up the room (even the ceiling!) a chocolate brown. The ceiling remained the very pale white so that my room won't become too dark. It's quite tiring work actually, especially the ceiling. Had to keep my head tilted up while i painted the ceiling for more than 6hrs tt day. But the hardwork was worth it. This is now a place of my own.

After I got my bronze for IPPT on 6 June, very lazy to keep fit le. I now go swimming irregularly(cos not as regular as I wanted, lazy). Went back to CSS the other day for Mr Yong's retirement party of some sort. So touched and surprised tt Mr Yong still remembered me, lol! He still kept and remember the apology letter I wrote to him when I was in Sec 4. One of the few official formal letters I wrote to a teacher... In the capacity of a councillor... Thinking about it now is really funny and brings back fond memories though the letter wasn't a good thing.

Our class one of the most hyper in CSS sia. Rebecca offered to buy stuff from the mkt early in the morn before coming to sch and she took orders from the whole class. Think I ordered 2 lo mai kais... 3/4 of the class stayed back during tt fateful day's recess time to makan in class, illegally with a few councillors (from exco somemore =.=) Suddenly, the door opens up and in comes Mr Yong (his lesson is immediately aft recess) with his stuff for teaching later. He sees me with my lo mai kai chopsticks and I thought I was goner, lol.

He was disappointed with us for not setting a good example lar. So me and laoda decide to each write an apology letter to him. I cheekily added some humour into the apology letter hoping to cool things down a little and it was cleared up pretty quickly(luckily as well). That incident was a well-kept secret and the rest of the school didn't know about it, haha. Kinda sad to see all the good teachers who used to teach me leaving the school already. The only teachers left in CSS I still know? Mdm Chang, Mdm Aishah, Mrs Catherine Yeo.

The recent happenings in Isreal sort of caught my attention as well. Cool isn't it? Sending an army in for the sake of a lowly corporal. I guess this is what keeps Isreal going on til now. Their policy of leaving no man behind whether dead or alive. If they don't have such policies, they'd definitely have been bullied by their neighbouring countries. What caught my interest was the fact tt the corporal was a tank gunner, my vocation. Lol, consoling isn't it?

While everyone's hyped up by the HK, Taiwan, Jap serials on YouTube, I'm all over CSI, slowly working my way back from Season VI, lol. There's also this serial called Numb3rs which is rather nice. This FBI guy uses his brother's expertise, a brilliant(understatement) mathematician, to solve crime by using maths. With maths, he's able to discover patterns and stuff within a crime in a very special way and solve it very logically. Pretty cool, check it out. Well, that's all for now, signing off~
