I'm home! For a very long wkend, probably the last b4 the run-in/build-up for our atec, a test of the battalion's combat proficiency. Very lucky indeed, our coy shud b on 4ntm standby beginning on wednesday but...C coy will b doing until the 1st wk of april. =P
Well, finally found a good host, no adverts, free service, for my webby interestin'. I also managed to include the google ads which is meant for me and not for the webhost, haha. Hopefully the site will b a success larz, I've never succeeded so far though, worth a try...worth a try.
Will b meeting my BMT section mates tml for lunch, quite glad they called me up, cos I haven't been able to make it for the past few meetings, they still remember me, hehe. Time for some catching up to do tml I guess. Still remember my buddy Lik Sin, who have helped me marvelous much during my BMT when I struggled wif my fitness and camp craft during our 7-day field camp. He's more zai than I am in many aspects, and our status now reflects it pretty well larz, me a spare crew tankee and he, a spec in another armour unit. =)
My BMT days were great mainly becos I was in a welfare coy where they dun tekan us tt much. They're all scholar-type ppl, not necessarily hardworking cos they're smart. I managed to hun shui mo yu and got into this great grp of ppl, haha, lucky me. Mixed wif them well and blended in rather easily lorz, good life for me then. A great juxtapose to my days in GTW when the some of the mono-guys are jus not tt friendly to me. Well, wonderful tt these guys aren't wif me, lucky I got into B coy where I wanted, away from these ppl and wif the nice, friendly, accomodating B coy mono-guys.
Jus watched Remember The Titans which I completed downloading b4 I booked in on Monday this wk. Wow wee, a wonderful show abt a 'black' coach hired to manage this sch's American Football team where racism is really great. Thru a boot-camp type of training, he managed to gel the black and white players together to play and win matches and in the process, worn out the racism that was present in the town. Very touching...the 2 coaches, 1 black and 1 white, learnt from each other thru the course of training the guys, one in charge of the attack side, the other the defence side. It's a terrific mus-watch old movie...try catching it...
