bye css...
Today is the Open House for CSS's new premises which was former RV ground. Totally refurbished, looking good, but it really made me feel sad knowing that the old building where all my fond memories are will belong to another sch pretty soon.
Back at the old CSS that I know, it was all about slopes. That's probably cos the building was built on a plateau of some sort. The slope up to the classrooms which I used to run down when I was sec 1 or 2 once we're released from class for recess, rushing to avoid the queue. The same slope I walk down as quickly as possible when I was in sec 4 cos I din wana behave so childishly? (lol, act mature lorz) Then there was that slope facing the expressway leading up to the Home Econs block which we used to run up during lower sec PE lessons. During our upper sec days the mini jogging track was built and the slope was sort of forgotten I guess...
Den there were the "illegal" spots in the sch, one which u could reach by climbing up the ladder at the backstage. That's the rooftop facing the main gate. Ultimately, it was definitely the grp of close friends I had that made the sch so memorable. I had this bad habit or preference of reaching sch early and usually sit at the canteen waiting for the shutters to be open so that we can get to our class on the upper floors of the sch compound. Usually gathered there would be me, Min Yang, Bear, Wen You, Hao Jie, the early birds.
Then there's the podium which I'd stand on early in the morn when I was a councillor, trying to settle down the whole sch once the bell rang, besides trying to settle the butterflies in my stomach initially when I was still a newbie at the job. Me and laoda always getting stomachache just b4 that, looking at each other seeing whose turn it was to go up there and get the job done, lol. The stomachache wasn't due to stage fright or something lor, it was jus my mistuned biological clock eh, hahaha.
Hai so much said, that's about it I guess, hope this move by CSS will set new ground for it to reach greater heights.
