Heh, there goes another stay-home Sunday. Had to wake up earlier than planned cos we were expecting potential buyers for the house to drop us a morning visit around 10am. Not bad, an Indian family who seemed very interested since they visited us again for a 2nd look within an hour, enquiring me about the bus services available here, since I'm the expert here, my dad drives and noes nuts about it, haha. The family, the wife in particular, seemed pretty pleased when I told her the bus stop within walking dist from my block has buses to Jurong East. (Hmm, so zhun the moment I'm blogging about this, Dad returns home telling us the deal is more or less sealed...)
Well, mixed feelings about this really, but I guess it has to be done. Now that my grandparents have already passed on, this house is kinda over-sized for the 4 of us. The household chores are also a headache. This is the first time I've stayed at a house for near 10yrs and everything starting to fall apart is kinda new to me, keke. Our new house at Lake Holmz has a smaller floor space so tt shud alleviate our household chores a little, haha.
After so many years, CSS finally moves to within walking dist from my house and I'm moving away again. Living near Clarabelle has had it's perks, always having company on the way home aft our sec4 class gatherings, haha. The reservoir, my fav prawn mee stall which moved to the kopitiam jus downstairs from 2 blocks away last time, finally getting a room of my own here which I painted myself jus a few mths back. I really hate major changes cos I'm a slow person, take kinda long to settle down in a new situation.
Hai, still kinda lost about how to study eh, army eroded all my studying experience and studying in uni is really different from how I used to do so, and I haven't got the hang of it. Average midterm scores for all my modules so far, kinda disappointed for Genes and Soc cos I kinda expected to do well. *sigh*
Newcastle take on Bolton tonight, of course I hope Newcastle wins, Martins scoring lotsa goals the better, but wif Newcastle's current form and style of play, can't even name 5 teams in the EPL they can DEFINITELY beat. This unpredictability makes supporting Newcastle exciting but it also makes you wonder when silverware will ever come, esp with a chairman who's dirt rich but seem to always get the wrong manager. Together with overpaid, underperforming players, the club is a total waste of money for the chairman eh. Oh well, see how ba, can't wait to watch football tonight, whaha.
