west brom 0 - 3 newcastle

EPL Wk 11 was capped off wonderfully this morn wif a 3-0 win by Newcastle over West Brom. Who else to score but Michael Owen(twice somemore!) and Alan Shearer! It's the beginning of the revival of the sleeping giant who was struggling at the bottom of the table and losing and drawing for almost 2 mths before all the injured star players returned back to the starting line-up.

Now wif less injuries to the 1st XI of Newcastle to cope, seems like my fav team has one of the strongest midfield in the EPL(of course compared wif Chelsea is one hell of a difference larz). Still missing out Luque through injury, we have Emre, Solano, Parker, N'Zogbia, Dyer and Bowyer. The backline is weak as usual but it's been already like this for 10yrs so I guess it's not an easy task for the manager larz. All that matters to me is tt they score more than they concede and win the game =P.

Another wonderful result is none other than the 4-1 thrashing of Man Utd by Middlesborough. Throughout the game Man-U din seem to be going to be getting anything out of the game. There seemed to be a lack of hunger for victory from the Man-U players. There was no control in the midfield by Man-U's over-the-hill Scholes and the acting-to-be-like-Keane, Alan Smith. Man-U certainly miss their full-backs Neville and Heinze very badly. The wonderful thing abt the game is the blunders made by the think-he's-so-great Ferdinand somemore right in front of Mclaren of all people, whaha.

Tottenham's 1-1 draw wif Arsenal, hmm, what should I say, a fair result for the game I guess. Arsenal, like Man-U, are in a total mess, being overrun by the opposing team. Tottenham grabbed the first goal thru a beautiful header by King(King of North London as the commentator said) from a free kick. Tottenham was threatening to finish the game off with a second goal and Arsenal look to be losing this derby match for sure at half time. Disappointingly, Tottenham began to attack less in the 2nd half and Arsenal, desperate for at least a draw, made a few substitutions and sparked some nice attacks for the equaliser. I just wonder if it was Jol's idea to defend the lead larz, if so, he deserved not to win the match lorz.

Hmm, Chelsea wins again? 4-2?!? Lampard scores again!?! Top scorer of EPL at the moment is a midfielder? He's a monster now sia. Playing in every Chelsea match so far, running all over the pitch for almost the full game, scoring so many goals, is he going to stop? How far can his fitness bring him? I wonder really...
