rigid!!

Well, tt's what we say of 1 of our section commanders aka S.C (rigid!!). This wk is 1 of the 'shortest' we've experienced. We booked in on monday aftnoon knowing we'll be booking out today in the evening from National Stadium after our 46SAR photo taking. Our programme this wk was just ICCT (intermediate close combat training), IMT (individual marksmanship training) and IPPT (known as NAPFA to non-NS ppl) test today. We came back only to know that our ICCT on monday aftnoon was cancelled and we ended up doing nothing. On tuesday, the same thing occured and we actually had the whole aftnoon to zho bo in our bunks. We took our aftnoon naps after lunch beginning at 1330 and were awoken at ard 1500 by our rigid S.C. Much to our displeasure, we were expecting to do some unnecessary stuff just for the sake of doing. Instead, our S.C told us to change to PT kit to play football! (i personally preferred basketball but who cares, got game then mus play! hehe) We suspect maybe the S.Cs have read our commanders' appraisal submitted on request of our P.C. A few of us all described him as a very rigid commander who follows most of the rules even if they're unnecessary lorz. That's why he decided to be more flexible le...letting us play sports...very unusual...anyway, luckily (to my pleasure), we only managed to get a football wif little air. As a result, we ended up getting a basketball and we played b-ball lorz. Many of my platoon mates were very zai in the game and i ended up not scoring a single counted goal (hai, i too lousy le). I had like 6 to 7 chances but due to me being a gan cheong spider (tt's wat my bunkmate described me to be during the match, =P), I shoot the ball b4 i really took aim and all ended up hitting the rim only (too used to playin' wif nets in NJ and my buddies in NJ always help me divert defenders away so that i have space and time on the ball to shoot freely). But to me, I've done quite well larz, cos i stole the ball from our opponent a few times (seem quite pro lorz, i appeared suddenly from behind and took the ball from the opponent's hands, haha). But I have a bad habit of lobbing the ball over to my team mates, this also cultivated in NJ when i play wif tall players (i usually lob the ball accurately to them mahz, habit habit...). I made bad passes a few times also, the ball short and stolen by opponent. We were instructed by our PS to do area cleaning and he'll inspect our bunks (wah, we worked hard for it sia). We moved our small wooden cupboards out and mopped the floor, wiped every window frame and pane and tidied up our cupboards. Tt's about all there is for this wk in camp...=P Sadly, my Nomad II MG is unserviceable anymore...this was expected since a few mths back when I got the chance and went to Creative to have the mp3 player checked. The man told me that there was battery leak and the leakage seeped into the motherboard of the player le...sad case lorz, he say it's gone case le but I still could use it until now...can't even on it le..intending of getting a new mp3 player..see if got time to go get it tml...a long wkend awaits me until monday morn when i bk in and go marching in NDP(our last march le, it's the actual day!). We're supposed to have tuesday and wednesday for off-days but I heard a rumour that the tank gunners(tt's me) have to return on tuesday aftnoon!!!(cos we're having live-firing nxt wkend and we have to prepare the targets lorz...hai...ultimate 'stunt of the day' by our commanders...) see how larz...jus enjoy the wkend first...hehe...
