It's the last time I'll get to march in national stadium this yr today and I definitely enjoyed it =). The rehearsals seemed tough initially and our wkends being burnt really pissed us off. But aft a few times, I got used to it and the rehearsals din mean much anymore. Only during the last few rehearsals and today did I realise life will b back to normal already and it doesn't mean everything will b wonderful again. It's becos of ndp tt i get to sleep 2 nights per wk at home lorz, cos normally we'll bk out on sat evening and den bk in on sun night. *Back to topic* My marching today was among the best I've done so I'm rather happy. During the parade, even though I was far away from the grandstand, I had a straight view of SM Lee, PM Goh and the MPs. I can't help but notice how senile SM Lee looks and I recall how I see him on TV answering questions posed to him. His mind is still as sharp as ever but no one can deny the fact tt he's really getting old. I really wonder how he feels every yr when he goes for NDP. He's one of those who's seen how Singapore progressed out of nothing and furthermore, he's the one who made it possible! Sadly, I missed the chance to see the fireworks at the stadium as everyone jus wanted to rush back to camp to return our weapons b4 a stipulated time or we'll hafta bk out only tml morn. I could only admire the fireworks from our chartered SBS bus as it was travelling further and further away from the stadium (haha). Too bad lar, cos I'd say this yr's fireworks is one of the best for the NDPs these past few yrs...=P
